We, Neuhealth Innovations Pvt Ltd, (“Company”, “MetaMeds”, “we”, “our”, “us”) are committed to safeguarding your rights and protecting your interests. The terms “You” or “Your” in this Cancellation and Refund policy (“Policy”) refer to the user and/or subscriber of our MetaMeds website and/or mobile application (“Platform”). We are the registered owner of the domain www.metameds.in (“Website”) as well as the mobile application Meta Meds, available in Play store and App store (“App”), which are collectively referred to as “Services”. We strive to provide the users with the best of experience while accessing and/or use of our products and services provided through the Platform and aim to provide you with the highest quality of services.
These Platforms are owned, managed and operated by our Company and this Cancellation and Refund Policy sets out the terms and conditions for cancellation and/or availment of refund in connection with use of the products and/ or services of this Platform and explains how we determine the conditions for refund for the users of the services including the Practitioners and the End users of the Platform.
We strongly recommend the users to carefully go through this Cancellation and Refund Policy prior to using or availing any of our products and/or services. Claims of any refund which is not in accordance with the terms of this Policy will strictly not be entertained under any circumstances.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
You acknowledge that by accessing and/or availing the products and/or services offered by the Company under this Platform, you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to the practices and terms set out in this Policy and agree to be bound by the same. You agree and consent that by accessing and/or subscribing to the Platform, you unconditionally assent to this Policy and agree to abide by the cancellation and refund terms in the manner and for the purposes set out in this Policy without any modifications. Any user that does not agree with any provisions of the same has the option to discontinue the services provided by MetaMeds immediately.
We reserve the right to change, modify, add or delete portions of the terms of this Policy, at our sole discretion, at any time. You agree that we may update this Policy from time to time in order to be in compliance with thelatest laws and rules passed and applicable from time to time as well as to act in best interest of the Company and the users of the Platform. You acknowledge that the Company will not notify any changes in the Policy personally to you, unless there are substantial changes which may affect majority of the users. The latest updated version of the Policy will always be made available at the Platform, accessible to the users at all points of time. In the event you object to any of the changes to our terms of the Policy, and you no longer wish to use the Platform, we kindly request you to refrain from availing the services of whose terms you do not agree with. Alternatively, if you use the Platform after the publication of the updated Policy, you will be deemed to have provided your consent to such changed terms.
It is hereby clarified that the Cancellation and Refund policy existing at the time of availing and/or use of the products and/or services shall apply in case of any dispute, regardless of any amendments made thereafter.
RETURN, REFUND AND CANCELLATION TERMS
At MetaMeds, we focus on providing utmost satisfaction to our users by providing effective products and services. We are happy to provide a refund based on the terms as set out below in case of any default on our part or if you are not satisfied with our products and/or services.
Product Cancellation and Refund:
d. Please note that you are also entitled to return the products in any of the above-mentioned circumstances in Clause a, b or c but the same should be notified to the Company immediately within 7 days from date of delivery of such products. The Company shall not be responsible for providing a refund or accepting any liability for defect of such products in case of any delay on part of the users to notify the Company within 7 days
It is hereby clarified that we may accept return request only for those products which are original, unused condition, has not been damaged or mistreated, has no signs of use, scratches, wear or tear, and is in condition for resale as new.
Notwithstanding the abovementioned terms, you agree and consent that there are certain products classified under ‘Non-returnable’ and ‘Non-refundable’ category and the same is not entitled for a refund even in case of the above-mentioned circumstances. We kindly request you to check the category the product falls into before ordering the same. The Company shall be responsible for clearly mentioning those products which fall into this category.
Service Cancellation and Refund:
a. The terms of cancellation and/or refund are as follows:
i. Cancellation prior to 5 days: 100% of appointment fees will be refunded
ii. Cancellation prior to 2 days: 25% of appointment fees will be deducted
iii. Cancellation on Appointment Date (at least one hour before such appointment): 50% of appointment fees will be deducted
iv. Any cancellation other than the abovementioned circumstances does not warrant refund of any amount, unless specifically guaranteed by the Company at any point of time Refunds will be processed in the patient’s / payer’s bank account if permitted. It’s possible that the refund process will take up to 30-60 days.
b. You are entitled to a refund of the full amount paid if the service is cancelled by the service provider at our end
c. In case of lack of response from the service provider at our side even after the scheduled time of service, you are entitled to the full amount paid unless the same is rescheduled with due intimation and proper notice to you
d. In case of unavoidable situations or change of service providers without intimation, the amount of refund shall be determined by the Company, after investigation of the situation
g. If case of complaints of insufficiency of the services provided, the Company would not be liable to provide any refund as the same relates to the professional services of the concerned doctors and/or third parties
h. In case where the Company is of the opinion that you are misusing this Platform for any purpose, the Company reserves the right to initiate legal proceedings as well as refrain from providing any services promised
The refunds, if permitted by the Company, shall be credited to the source account from which the payment was made initially by the user. In case of any different modes of payment, it is the responsibility of the user to contact the Company well in advance to make the necessary changes in mode of payment. The Company shall not be liable for any confusion arising due to the lack of proper communication and due intimation for changes in mode of payment of refund.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any delay caused in refunds due to delay by third-party affiliates (including banks), in providing information by the user, technical issues, and other reasons beyond our control.

You agree and consent that the abovementioned contents of this Policy are general guidelines that are followed by the Company while determining whether or not to approve the refund/ cancellation. You agree that the refunds shall be determined on case-to-case basis at the discretion of the company based on the circumstances at hand.
